Who is Dr. Cecilia Rusnak?
Dr. Cecilia Rusnak, LME, AP, DAc, is a licensed acupuncture physician and paramedical aesthetician with over a decade of experience in integrative medicine and advanced aesthetics. What makes Dr. Rusnak Wellness different from drugstore or luxury brands?
Our products are medical-grade, physician-formulated, and built around active ingredients at clinically meaningful concentrations. Unlike mass-market skincare, every formula was developed in a clinical setting — including oncology and post-procedure aftercare — where effectiveness and skin safety are non-negotiable.
Are your products vegan and cruelty-free?
Yes. Every Dr. Rusnak Wellness product is vegan, cruelty-free, and paraben-free. We never test on animals, and we never use animal-derived ingredients.
Choosing the Right Products
Where should I start if I'm new to the line?
We recommend beginning with the essentials: a cleanser (Qi Wash for most skin types, Qi Clear AHA for oily or blemish-prone skin), a targeted serum based on your main concern, a moisturizer, and daily SPF protection (Healing Support SPF 40). How do I know which products are right for my skin concern?
Shop by concern from the main menu: Anti-Aging, Brightening, Sensitive Skin, Redness, Acne & Blemishes, Dry Skin, or Dullness & Uneven Tone. Each collection contains products specifically formulated for that concern.
Can I use multiple serums at once?
Yes — many of our clients layer serums. A good rule of thumb: apply the thinnest/most watery product first, and the richest product last. Start with one serum for two to three weeks before adding another, so you can clearly see which product is doing what.
What's the difference between the Qi Collection and the Calm Flow Collection?
The Qi Collection is our core peptide-powered line — designed for most skin types and daily use, with targeted actives for brightening, firming, and renewal. The Calm Flow Collection is formulated specifically for sensitive, reactive, or redness-prone skin, using gentle botanicals that soothe while hydrating.
How to Use
In what order should I apply my skincare?
Morning: cleanser → toner → serum(s) → eye treatment → moisturizer → SPF.
Evening: cleanser (double-cleanse if wearing makeup or SPF) → toner → treatment serums → eye treatment → moisturizer or night cream → face oil if needed.
Can I use retinol with other actives?
Retinol is best introduced slowly — two to three times per week at first, then building up as tolerated. Avoid layering retinol with AHAs in the same application; use your AHA cleanser in the morning and retinol at night, or alternate days. Always wear SPF when using retinol.
How long before I see results?
Hydration and texture improvements are often visible within the first week. Tone and fine line improvements typically become visible around four to eight weeks of consistent use, aligned with your skin's natural renewal cycle.
Are your products safe during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
We recommend consulting your physician before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Our products containing retinol or high-concentration actives (such as the Anti-Aging Body Moisturizer with Retinol and some of our correctors) are generally not recommended during pregnancy.

Orders typically ship within one to two business days from our Florida fulfillment center. Transit time within the U.S. is usually two to five business days depending on your location.
